The Paddocks is a working family farmhouse in the hamlet of Postlip, bordering Cleeve Common and overlooking the ancient town of Winchchombe and surrounding valley. We are a mile off the main B4362, 5 miles from Cheltenham and 2 miles out of Winchcombe.
We have a busy family run farm with 2000 sheep and 400 cattle and all the daily feeding and bedding down involved. During the winter the farm sheds are full of stock, however as the weather improves the animals are all turned out to pasture for the summer months, leaving just the sheep dogs and the chickens at home. February to April is one of our busiest times with lambing taking place. Its a very labour intensive time on the farm with lots of extra pairs of hands on duty. The farm has many footpaths running over it, including the Cotswold Way and borders Cleeve Common. The views are spectacular although some of the hills are not for the faint hearted. Luckily most of the more famous landmarks can be reached by car in most cases.
